| The Digidesign Quiet Drive units are very quiet and reliable to use with any Pro Tools High Definition 2 system or any other Pro Tools rig for that matter. You can rack them into two space rack units, or stack them on top of each other individually. These are Ultrawide Cheatah units that run at 10k, and are surprisingly quiet compared to Glyph drives, etc. that I've heard. These work especially well with Pro Tools Mix systems as well as Pro Tools High Definition 2 systems with the 192 I/O Converter. You can sometimes find newly used units on Ebay for a fairly reasonable price. Below, you can see a 9 Gig unit on top of the Power Mac G4 733 Mhz computer.
