Triumph Group - Triumph Music Pic : Triumph was a great rock band, and Rik Emmett deserves most of the credit. Triumph had so many great albums back in the 70's and early 80's. I really loved Allied Forces, Progressions of Power, and Just A Game was great too. It's quite a shame that the three guys couldn't get along and had a bitter split that remains bitter to this day. Come on guys, if The Eagles can work things out then anybody can!! Triumph's melodic rock had a solid influence on me, and I wish they had more music completed before the split. Rik seems to be doing pretty well on his own these days, but really doesn't want to have anything to do with old Triumph songs, unfortunately. Canadian rock was great back in the 70's and 80's!!
