Cathedral Stone - Influence U2 - MP3 - U2 Picture Band - U2 Song Music - Bono - The Edge

U2 Picture - U2 Band : Early U2 music was a big influence on me starting with the WAR album. I loved every U2 song on those old albums. Looking at the old album photo's shows how innocent looking they once were. I really liked songs such as October, New Years Day, etc. and the Yamaha CP70B electric grand piano was a big part of that sound. I also loved The Edge's Vox AC30 tone with his picking style and use of delay patterns. Recently, it's been exciting to see them make really good music again with songs such as the awesome Beautiful Day. That's old classic U2 at its best. The 90's techno thing just didn't cut it, and it's great to see them back with a Bono that's a little more humble.
