really like old ZZ Top music with the old Marshall Plexi Super Lead tone.
They later changed their tone in the early 80's by using a Rockman preamp
fed into a Marshall power amp stage. This ZZ Top album 'Eliminator' tone
was cool, but I prefer the older 70's tone. Here you can see a Billy Gibbons
photo in front of his old Marshall Plexi Super Lead
stacks. He also used early 70's Marshall
JMP metal panels, as well. I'll try to get more Billy Gibbons Marshall
pic photo's up soon. The older ZZ Top songs had a solid influence on me.
