I forgot to mention that Tommy Shaw of Styx was recently
cruising through the site here and found an old 1977 Grand Illusion Tour
photo of him and James Young playing with their backs to each other on
stage. A classic 70's rock pose! He liked it so much that he decided to
have his webmaster for the official Styx website (www.styxworld.com) add
it to their 1977 pics section here: 1977
Styx Pic @ Styx World ,
and they were nice enough to credit my website. As many of you know, the
mid-late 70's music by Styx is pretty much the best 70's rock of all time
to me, so I really do think the old band pics are pretty cool.

Last week a friend of mine was in town paying a visit
to the great Jimmy Crespo, and we met up down at the Fontana Bar at the
Bellagio to check out Jimmy's band. For those of you not familiar with
Jimmy's work, he played with Aerosmith from 1979 to 1984, played with
Rod Stewart, and has done studio work for many great musicians. It was
a pleasure to see him play, and he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever
meet. If you're reading this Jimmy, thanks for having us.
If
you ever want to check out Jimmy's band, he plays for a very popular singer
named Jimmy Hopper five nights a week (two times a night) at the Bellagio's
very classy Fontana Bar.
On another note, the website reached a milestone by cracking the 1,500
mark for unquie site visits in one day. Thank you so much very stopping
by, and coming back. I'll have my music up as soon as I possibly can.
This chronic illness has been really tough on me, and things get done
slowly, unfortunately.

I don't usually get political, but this is an exception.
I just wanted to say thank you to any military veterans or current military
personnel that happen to be reading this. Thank you for your service and
dedication to our country. I'm 100% behind our troups and our president,
and I hope it ends very soon. You're all doing such an amazing job.
For
those of you extremely tired of the so called 'Peace' movement, listen
to this
exchange between a former Iraqi citizen and a typical airhead protestor
on Seattle talk radio station KVI. Too funny! I'm by no means a right
wing conservative, but this site has some great anti-leftwing protest
signs: www.protestwarrior.com
In
other music news, I updated to Pro Tools 6.0 and finally got an Empirical
Labs EL-7 FATSO tape simulator unit. So far it's been worth every penny,
and then some. It adds a warmer, fatter, rounded sound that so much of
the 70's music had, particularly 70's rock tone.

As my treatment for Lyme continues, I'm making slow
but steady progress on the recording sessions for my first official CD.
I will have rough demo's up in the next few weeks or so.

Due to an on going illness, the progress on getting
my music ready to publish has been
much slower than expected. Last Friday I tested positive for late stage
Lyme Disease, so
that is the likely culprit of my condition. I'll be seeing a good Lyme
doc in New York soon, so hopefully I can resolve this ASAP. Did I mention
that I hate ticks? Yeah, I hate ticks!!

Well, it's been a while since I've had any music
news, but here's an update. A lot of the music artist info. on the site
has been completed. The MP3 Music page is roughly completed, and it will
eventually have different catagory's regarding style such as 70's rock,
other types of 70's music, etc.
I
also recently upfraded to Pro Tools High Definition which was no simple
task since I changed formats from PC to Mac. It sounds awesome and I can't
wait to have clips up.

Hello Everyone !! Time for some music news. As you
can see, I'm trying to get this site up and running as quickly as possible.
Of course there's quite a learning curve when designing a website for
the first time. I'm trying to get all the pages started, and then I'll
go back and complete them over the next month or so.
To
say the least, it's been a very busy time. In addition to getting this
website up and running, I'm in the process of chnaging over to Pro Tools
HD which just came out several weeks ago. This will take a little time
to get changed over, and things should start rolling along just geat.
I should have some new MP3's posted on the MP3 Music page in early May.
Anyone that listens to them will also have the opportunity to rank them
in order !! As a music artist, I'm really interested in getting as much
feedback as possible. The first few songs should be in the vein of 70's
rock commonly termed classic rock, as well as other rock oriented 70's
music.
